INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take cheese out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour (cheese should be served at room temperature!)
  2. Assemble all ingredients on a large cutting board or platter in the following order. Enjoy!
  • Big items first, bowls and cheese. Serve the cheese in a variety of shapes to add visual interest.
  • For hard cheeses, like cheddar and parmesan, cut them into slices or cubes and stack them up on the board.
  • Add meats, bread and crackers, fan out on the side of the board.
  • You can fold the meats in a couple of different ways, triangle, small cone, twisted (like prosciutto) or sausage on a bias.
  • Add an extra bowl of bread on the side of the platter.
  • Fill in big spaces with fruit and nuts.
  • Add some olives and fill the bowls with anything you like, perhaps honey and flakey sea salt or pesto, dip or cornichons.
  • Tuck in some rocket into the remaining spots and voila!
