New look Kirrihill brought to life with contemporary new range

MEDIA RELEASE

Clare Valley’s Kirrihill Wines are thrilled to unveil the company’s rebrand with the launch of the new Regional Series Riesling and Regional Series Shiraz; the first of four new sub-ranges to receive a complete rebrand.

‘’This is an exciting new growth phase for the brand with a fresh, new identity which we’re confident will resonate strongly with our customers and attract new audiences with this repositioning,” says co-owner and Commercial & Export Director, Matt Lawson. “This new look more strongly represents our premium offering and is more aligned with our family ownership and commitment to making the best wines possible from our finest Clare Valley vineyards.”

Kirrihill’s new Regional Series showcases classic Clare Valley varieties grown throughout the region, and celebrates fruit driven, soft and approachable wines. The wines are released when they are bright and fresh and are best suited to casual, everyday occasions to be enjoyed with food, family and friends.

‘’These are food friendly wines for everyday enjoyment and socialising casually with family and friends,” says Senior Winemaker, Andrew Locke. “The key is about approachability of flavour and accessibility, designed to be generous in style but with soft tannins complemented by bright fruit.”

The two wines are highly awarded which is a testament to their quality in the ever-competitive $15-$20 category. The 2019 Shiraz was awarded Gold and Top 100 at the 2020 Sommelier’s Choice Awards, San Francisco, and Double Gold from the 2020 Melbourne International Wine Competition.

The packaging represents an abstract view of the vineyard sites for each wine, crafted in a contemporary and minimalistic design.

‘’The Regional Series is such an important brand to us, as it captures the essence of the Valley and a foundational point to discover our collection of wines’’, Lawson says.
